Wow. Couldn’t ignore this one..

I just wish my ex would have caught on before I attempted suicide. Then my family would be together now and I would still be around my love and my children.

People… suicide is a VERY serious issue. Please pay CLOSE attention and seek help immediately if you or someone you know feels this way.

  1. Hi. Just finished reading your book. Vivid, vivid account of hallucinations and frustration that goes with mental illness. Unlike you, I believe my illness didn’t help my creativity much. I’ve always been naturally a tinkerer and curious. My illness certainly killed my ability to do math and hard science, which killed my dreams of going to medical school and going into medical research. Kind of scary the hallucinations and problems others with schizophrenia go through (and my problems were no walk in the park themselves). My saving grace came from a supportive family and friends who didn’t mind me being slightly off and eccentric.

Anyway, I’m glad I read your book. We all have our problems and struggles even if they are different. Keep on going. We have no idea what treatments could be coming. It’s even possible that something like nanotech medicine and/or bypassing the ‘blood-brain barrier’ can make taking pills for our mental health issues completely obsolete. I like to search the internet for writings and videos on potential tech breakthroughs in the near future. It is very possible people in our age bracket (i’m mid 30s) and younger could be real life ‘bicentennial’ men and women.
